Postpartum Depression

Recent studies show that as many as one in five women develop symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or a combination of these, within one year after giving birth. Women with postpartum depression experience such intense feelings of sadness, anxiety or fatigue, that they often have trouble functioning and coping with daily tasks.
